Gundka Werk Gmb was a tin toy company located in Germany that produced, among other toys, the Gundka typewriter. According to Arnold Betzwieser, the Gundka is actually an abbreviation of the the parent company Spielwarenfabrik Greppert & Kelch, or "G und Ka" ( According to Michael Adler in Antique Typewriters: From Creed to QWERTY, this machine was marketed under several names and were meant for different countries, e.g., ". . . Frolio was probably intended for the Italian market, Perlita for Spain, Write Easy for England, and G & K and Gundka for the German home market." (pg. 149)
