Helios was the Greek god of the sun and the guardian of oaths, also known as a titan due to his lineage. Perhaps most appropriately for this visible typewriter, Helios was also worshipped as the god of sight. This little portable is light weight and original, being apparently the only two-banked typewriter with a triple shift in existence. The middle picture to the left are the initials of the inventor, seemingly used as the logo for his company, borrowed from the Rechnerlexikon, an online encyclopedia of calculating machines (www.rechnerlexikon.de).
