Imperial
It seems that the Imperial brand name has been used by multiple companies, but this particular brand is from the true Imperial Typewriter Company formed in Leicester, England. According to Adler, the company was a combination of multiple smaller companies, including the manufacturer who was producing the Moya. In 1966, the Imperial Typewriter Company was purchased by Litton Industries and continued producing portable models in its Hull factory under the Royal division of the company. It does seem that other Imperial brands were available around the same time. Searching through the newspapers, one will come across an Imperial typewriter from the Imperial Typewriter Company of Canada that sells a desk model with a striking resemblance to the Remington.
