Sun

Although titled model no. 2, what could be considered as the Sun model no. 1 was actually an index typewriter with a completely different look and feel. What made this typewriter particularly unique was the inking mechanism, which was an ink pad roll the keys strike before hitting the paper. It was also advertised as being less expensive, likely due to the sheet metal, rather than other more expensive materials, used in constructing the frame.
