Hall
This company started when Hall finally hit upon a typewriter that would sell in 1881. Previusly he attempted a more standard typewriter, had it patented, but it never sold. The Hall manufacturing plants were in three different locations over the course of the history, first in New York, followed by Salem. The Hall Typewriter Company sold its assets to National Typewriter Company, and the final model of the Hall was produced in Boston, MA.
